How has your internship helped build your skills and clarify your career goals?  How did being a Liberal Arts student at Purdue apply to your internship?

My internship introduced me to the corporate world, and with structural design it helped me decide what to pursue in engineering. My philosophy major prepped me on asking the right questions and helped my ability in drafting reports.

What is a piece of advice you would give someone in your major looking for an internship? 

Always go to career fairs. whether you get responses or not it's great experience.

What key responsibilities or tasks have you taken on during your internship?

I modeled and compiled construction drawings and on-sight photos to create reports on the structural integrity of proposed antenna on cell towers.

In what ways has the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University supported your internship journey? How has your participation in our job-ready program specifically aided your professional development? 

Studying philosophy helped me to stand out as a candidate in the engineering world. Job ready aided me in the relocation of my internship.

Could you highlight a standout aspect of your experience in this program that you find particularly noteworthy? 

Meeting with my peers within the program and learning about their internship experiences.
