The College of Liberal Arts Research Academy (CLARA) is dedicated to strengthening the research community of Purdue's College of Liberal Arts by fostering impactful, fundable, and collaborative scholarship. The Research Academy aims to elevate the visibility of liberal arts research through strategic mentorship, cross-college collaborations, and support for prestigious external awards.

Events

The Research Academy is organizing a variety of events to celebrate research achievements and to provide opportunities to build new research capacities. As a signature characteristic, the Research Academy aspires to be an innovator in the incubation of multidisciplinary research.

CLA AI

The College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University is engaged in a broad spectrum of artificial intelligence (AI) research, marked by interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation across the humanities, social sciences, and the arts. We both engage in research to understand AI and use AI tools in our research. Multiple labs are included in this collaborative research project.
