1.) How did you learn about this internship opportunity? 

I learned about this company through hearing the name of the owner discussed frequently at some of my other internships. I was not aware that she was taking interns but wanted to meet her. I scheduled a call with her to get to hear about her experience in the field of Political Science and learned about the internship from there! 

2.) How has your internship helped build your skills and clarify your career goals?  

My internship has developed my organizational skills and my communication skills through event planning and networking with donors and politicians. 

3.) How do you apply your Liberal Arts skills to your internship?  

I apply liberal arts skills into this internship by using the knowledge from government courses with the lingual skills emphasized in most courses relating to liberal arts.

4.) What is a piece of advice you would give someone looking for an internship?   

I would advise them to connect with professors and ask if they have heard of opportunities to apply to. You never know who has contacted them looking for students!
