Megan Bennett joined the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023 as Performance Marketing Manager. She leads the club's paid media strategy, driving single-game, group, and season ticket sales through data-driven marketing campaigns that support the organization's overall ticket goals. In her role, Megan oversees the strategy, budget, campaign planning, and optimization across the club's paid media channels. This includes multiple campaigns across paid social, display, and search engine marketing (SEM).

She collaborates closely with the ticket sales, business intelligence, creative, and corporate partnerships teams to continuously optimize campaigns and maximize return on advertising investment. Additionally, Megan works alongside the creative and organic social teams to develop and amplify content that highlights both the Pirates' on-field performance and the personalities that make the club unique. Since joining the Pirates, she has helped drive record-breaking attributable revenue from paid advertising while contributing to the club's highest level of fan acquisition since 2013.

Prior to joining the Pirates, Megan held marketing roles with the San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic, and sports technology company YinzCam. She began her career in sports marketing while attending Purdue University, where she worked for Purdue Athletics and the Purdue Student Concert Committee. Those experiences gave her a foundation in event operations, game presentation, marketing, and social media, ultimately leading to her first professional internship with the Orlando Magic.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys running, traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring breweries around Pittsburgh. While she calls Pittsburgh home, football Sundays are spent cheering for the Cleveland Browns—a side effect of marrying a Browns fan. Although when basketball season rolls around, the entire family is proudly cheering on the Boilermakers.
