BA, Communication and Spanish, Purdue University, 2015

While at Purdue, Allison "Alli" Tucker was actively involved with the Center for C-SPAN Scholarship & Engagement and Greek life, experiences that helped shape her passion for communication, leadership, and relationship-building. Today, Alli serves as Director of Sales at Maple Leaf Farms, her family's fourth-generation business and North America's leading producer of duck. She leads the company's sales strategy and partners with national restaurant chains, foodservice operators, distributors, and key customers across the country.

Since joining Maple Leaf Farms, she has progressed through several leadership roles—from managing food service sales throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region to leading the company's national sales organization. Although Maple Leaf Farms had always been part of her life, Alli's career began in an entirely different direction. She spent several years in communications and public affairs, serving as Communications Director and Deputy Press Secretary for two members of Congress on Capitol Hill before joining Guidehouse, where she supported the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Returning to the family business wasn't part of her original plan, but it became an opportunity to combine her background in communications, public service, and relationship-building with a business that had been part of her family's legacy for generations.

Alli credits her Purdue education with providing the foundation for every step of her career. Her journey illustrates that careers are rarely linear and that some of the best opportunities come from remaining curious, embracing change, and being open to paths you never expected. Outside of work, Alli enjoys playing tennis, discovering new restaurants, traveling whenever she can, and unwinding with a great TV series or audiobook. She also loves spending time with her three cats.
