Dorothee Bouquet

Dr. Dorothée Bouquet, Senior Lecturer in the Department of History, has been named as one of four recipients of the College of Liberal Arts Award for Outstanding Lecturer for 2024-2025. Honorees were chosen by the CLA Educational Excellence Awards Committee and the Dean on the basis of student and faculty nominations, student ratings, teaching and scholarly excellence, and peer evaluation. In addition to the recognition, Dr. Bouquet will receive a monetary award.

“I’m deeply honored to receive the College of Liberal Arts Award for Outstanding Lecturer,” said Dr. Bouquet. “It’s incredibly meaningful to be recognized in this way, especially knowing it comes from the CLA community of students and colleagues I so deeply respect.”

Dr. Bouquet joined the Department of History 2012 as a Continuing Lecturer and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2019, with a specialization in European History. She regularly teaches multiple sections of History 104: Introduction to the Modern World (online).

The College of Liberal Arts will recognize recipients of the Outstanding Lecturer Awards and four other teaching awards during its End-of-Semester Reception on Tuesday, April 29.
