Sara and Rochelle (Chellie) Zou are Purdue alumnae, twin sisters, and corporate leaders whose careers span Fortune 500 companies, graduate school and national media.
Sara and Rochelle graduated from Purdue in 2011 from the College of Liberal Arts. Rochelle studied Communication with minors in Chinese and Psychology. Sara studied Political Science with minors in Chinese and Communication. They twirled together as the Silver Twins with the All-American Marching Band.
Sara currently works at as the Senior Manager of Community and Market Impact at United Airlines, where she leads employee engagement and community partnership initiatives across corporate offices, airports and operational sites.
Rochelle Zou is a Senior Manager of Transformation at McDonald’s, where she supports a large-scale indirect sourcing and procurement transformation. Prior to McDonald’s, she spent six year at Accenture as a consultant specializing in organizational change management for a variety of clients with a focus in life sciences. She is deeply engaged with Purdue, serving as President of the Purdue Alumni Club of Chicago, a member of the Libraries Dean’s Advisory Council, President’s Council, and a lifetime member of Purdue for Life.
Sara is the President of the Purdue Alumni Network for Aviation and Aerospace. She also serves on the Purdue Libraries Dean’s Advisory Council and is a lifetime member of Purdue for Life.
After Purdue, Sara and Rochelle worked at C-SPAN in Washington, D.C., earned master’s degrees from Harvard University. They both live in Chicago with their husbands. Together, they are passionate about networking, mentorship and helping students build careers rooted in strong relationships and real-world experience.
