Sara Zou is a leader in the airline industry with experience at United Airlines, where she designs and executes employee engagement, volunteer and partnership initiatives across corporate offices, airports and operational sites. Currently, she is the Senior Manager of Community and Market Impact.
A proud Purdue alumna, Sara credits the foundation of her leadership and professional confidence to her time at the university. She later continued her education at Harvard and has contributed to national conversations through work with C-SPAN, experiences that sharpened her perspective on leadership, communication and public engagement.
Sara is passionate about mentoring early-career professionals through networking and career development. Sara and her twin, Rochelle, twirled as the Silver Twins with the All-American Marching Band during their time at Purdue. They were active on campus and continue to be active alumni.
Sara serves as the President of the Purdue Alumni Network for Aviation and Aerospace. Sara lives in Chicago with her husband, Chris. They love to maximize her travel benefits by taking trips as often as they can.
