DJ Moore is the founder, owner, and CEO of Erosion & Construction Solutions (ECS), parent company of the Siltworm line of erosion and sediment control solutions. Based in Northwest Indiana, ECS specializes in protecting freshwater systems by preventing stormwater pollution , delivering industry-leading sediment retention performance.
Since launching the company from a small startup into a high-growth environmental solutions leader, DJ has driven a trajectory that earned ECS a place on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list in 2023, 2024, and 2025. His team has been recognized with the Society of Innovators Award from Purdue University Northwest, and DJ was named the 2024 Indiana Small Business Person of the Year by the ISBDC as well as a NWI Times 20 Under 40 honoree.
DJ’s liberal arts education shaped his leadership style, blending strategic decision-making with a people-first, purpose-driven philosophy. Under his guidance, the business has expanded across the Midwest, building a reputation for innovation, execution, and operational excellence, while maintaining a culture rooted in accountability, teamwork, and trust.
