Serves as the primary point of contact for issues management and strategic communication needs, as well as the main liaison for incoming media inquiries. Works closely with university leadership, emergency operations teams, and campus partners—while cultivating strong relationships with local and national media—to strategically promote, protect, and position Purdue’s reputation. Leads media strategy and serves as a university spokesperson during critical incidents, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency in messaging. Actively monitors media coverage and public sentiment to guide response strategies and stay ahead of emerging issues in higher education.

Before coming to Purdue, Trevor spent six years in local news as an award-winning anchor and reporter in Cincinnati and West Lafayette. Trevor earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue’s Brian Lamb School of Communication and an MBA from Purdue Global.

Outside of the office, Trevor is the in-game host for Purdue Football, a role he has held since he was a student. He also serves as a mentor for the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, a faculty fellow for Cary Hall and is an honorary for the Reamer Club.

Trevor met his wife, Natalie, at Purdue and they live in Whitestown and have a daughter, Ava, who was born in May.
