Cecilia Daizovi currently serves as the Chief Brand Strategist for Deloitte's US Higher Education practice. Cecilia possesses years of branding and strategic communications experience and a fresh perspective of the Higher Education industry, having led the Communications Team at one of the nation's largest university systems through a successful multi-year technology implementation.
Formerly, Cecilia led the organizational change management and strategic communications efforts for programs at the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. She has previously served clients at the state government level as well as the U.S. Department of State. Her past work has been honored with the PRSA Silver Anvil Award – one of the highest awards in the Public Relations industry. Cecilia is known to be an inclusive leader, having guided the creation of the brand and strategic communications strategies for a growing number of public sector clients.
Cecilia resides in both Miami, Florida and Leesburg, Virginia, with her partner Jason and their 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix, Lola. She is a proud alumna of Purdue University (BA) and Georgetown University (MA, GC).
Cecilia is an active mentor for undergraduate students at Purdue's Brian Lamb School of Communication and a board member for the Miss Arlington (Virginia) Scholarship Organization.
When she is not working or volunteering, Cecilia enjoys traveling domestically and internationally, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and watching NFL RedZone, Purdue basketball, and the latest reality TV shows.
