Sutton is an Editorial Producer on the political team at CBS National News, where she utilizes a decade of media and leadership expertise. In her role, she maintains essential relationships with political figures, including Members of Congress and federal government officials, to develop and produce exclusive news stories for live TV segments spanning national politics, global policy, and breaking news.

Prior to CBS News, Sutton served as a Public Affairs Specialist and spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She was a primary point of contact for national and international journalists, managing crisis communications, and preparing Director Wray and executive leadership for media interviews and press conferences.

Sutton is committed to social impact, including non-profit work combating human trafficking, and she actively mentors Purdue University students interested in careers involving media and politics. She also advises startups on digital marketing and brand elevation strategies. Sutton graduated magna cum laude from Purdue University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a minor in Political Science. She lives in Arlington, Virginia, with her wife and two dogs.
