Maureen Richmond is a nationally recognized communications leader with deep expertise in strategic communications planning, thought leadership, and organizational reputation management.
With more than 25 years of experience in leading integrated communications for complex, mission-driven organizations, including Bon Secours Mercy Health, Honda North America, Greyhound and First Student, and Cedar Fair/Six Flags, Maureen is focused on elevating brand narratives during times of transformation, growth, and crisis.
She has led enterprise-wide communications during mergers, labor disruptions, managed care negotiations, and global health crises - including COVID-19. Her ability to craft clear, confident and consistent messaging has earned her recognition as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and board members.
In addition, Maureen has managed and mentored high-performing teams in both in-person and remote environments. Her approach combines data-driven strategy with authentic storytelling, resulting in quality campaign impressions, robust and varied stakeholder engagement, and award-winning public relations outcomes.
Maureen earned a BA at Purdue and is also accredited by the Public Relations Society of America. Following college, she moved to Cincinnati and has been very involved with the Sycamore Athletic Boosters, Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She and her husband Tim can often be found cheering on their sons Joe and Jack and daughter June Marie on as they play sports, dance and perform in theater and music shows.
