Ryan Ken is an actor and Emmy-winning television writer who uses an unconventional comedic perspective to comment on social issues, film, television, politics, and pop culture. They first came to public consciousness through their popular online satirical parodies that have amassed millions of views across Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. Ken’s comedic commentary is bold and direct but skilfully avoids the pitfalls of punching down and recycling tired tropes to produce something fresh. Taryn Finley of The Huffington Post said of their comedy, Ken “will make you laugh and think at the same time — then, when you’re done laughing, you’re going to think some more.” Entertainment reporter Ashley Spencer described Ryan Ken as “the future of comedy.” Ken’s videos have been celebrated in NPR, GQ, Us Weekly, Funny or Die, Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, Shondaland, and the LA Times.
