Ilenia Herrera Lutz is the head of Global Talent Acquisition at Duck Creek Technologies, leading the company's efforts in attracting top talent across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. In this role, she focuses on driving the strategic direction and implementing effective sourcing strategies to support Duck Creek's dynamic teams, which combine technology and insurance expertise to innovate and transform the Insuretech space.

Before joining Duck Creek Technologies, Ilenia built a diverse career spanning over 16 years in the professional services industry with Accenture. During this time, she worked with renowned companies and diversity professional organizations, gaining valuable experience in management consulting, human resources, and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging).

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ilenia is deeply committed to paying it forward and creating opportunities for others. She actively dedicates her free time to mentor, support, and advocate for entry-level and mid-career professionals, both individually and through various technology organizations. Ilenia is also actively involved in Purdue for Life and Purdue Alumni initiatives. She currently serves as the co-lead for the Purdue Women's Network Chicago Chapter, and for six years, she was a board member for the College of Liberal Arts. She played a crucial role as a founding member of the International Executive Council of Purdue Women, which has now been rebranded as the Purdue Women's Network. Additionally, she held an executive position in the Chicago chapter of the Purdue Women's Network.

Originally from Panama City, Panama, Ilenia earned a bachelor's degree in Communications and a master's degree in Spanish from Purdue University. She resides in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband Scott, whom she met during college, and they are proud parents of Ian, a Purdue rising junior. During her leisure time, Ilenia enjoys traveling with her family, catching up on reading, and exploring her culinary skills in the kitchen.
