Four Department of History faculty recognized for Years of Service

Four Department of History faculty were recognized for their service anniversaries at Purdue University. Deborah L. Fleetham, William G. Gray, Wendy Kline, and Margaret Mih Tillman were honored at a celebratory luncheon on Dec. 3 in Purdue Memorial Union's North Ballroom.

Research team including Dr. Kathryn Maxson Jones aims to expand neuroscience data accessibility

Assistant Professor Dr. Kathryn Maxson Jones is part of a team of researchers aiming to expand the accessibility of neuroscience data. The team recently published a paper in eLife Sciences Publications, Ltd. In their paper, the researchers provided an overview and analysis of the NIH-funded BRAIN Initiative data-sharing ecosystem.

Dr. Kathryn Cramer Brownell receives American Historical Society’s 2024 Palmegiano Prize

Dr. Kathryn Cramer Brownell, Professor in the Department of History, is the 2024 recipient of the Eugenia M. Palmegiano Prize in the History of Journalism presented by the American Historical Association, awarded annually to the author of the most outstanding book published in English on any aspect of the history of journalism, concerning any area of the world, and any period.
