Dr. Kathryn Cramer Brownell receives American Historical Association's 2024 Palmegiano Prize
Dr. Kathryn Cramer Brownell, Professor in the Department of History, is the 2024 recipient of the Eugenia M. Palmegiano Prize in the History of Journalism presented by the American Historical Association, awarded annually to the author of the most outstanding book published in English on any aspect of the history of journalism, concerning any area of the world, and any period.
Dr. Brownell is being recognized for her book, 24/7 Politics: Cable Television and the Fragmenting of America from Watergate to Fox News (Princeton Univ. Press, 2023).
