Ron Carpinella

BA, History, 1991

Ron, a graduate of Purdue University and Duke University, is a senior technology executive focused on delivering tech solutions to the government's Defense and Intelligence sectors. Over his career, he has built and led numerous teams as a CEO, COO, CMO and CRO. He founded two technology startups, led Google's initial operations in the Southern USA, developed technologies that were standardized and deployed for secure online identity management, contributed to NIST technical standards used throughout the government, and co-authored publications on security in social media.

In his spare time, he serves as a Captain in the US Navy Reserves, is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan and has had the unique privilege of serving as a Commanding Officer twice. He is the proud father of a recent Purdue graduate ('26), Boiler Up!
