Jill Ramsten grew up in South Bend, Indiana, and came to Purdue as the first person in her family to attend college. After graduation, Jill served as a patrol officer and field training officer for the Tampa Police Department. Jill served the Tampa community in many capacities, including street-level drug enforcement, narcotics detective and sergeant, executive officer for the Chief of Police, commander of the Aviation and Marine Unit, and as a captain in the Criminal Investigations Division and Internal Affairs. Jill was a graduate of the FBI National Academy and was also the first female member of the Tampa Police Department SWAT Team.

After 25 years, Jill began a second career and is currently a security representative for the National Football League. She is based in Tampa and works with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Raymond James Stadium personnel to maintain compliance with the League’s protocols and the Department of Homeland Security Safety Act. Jill also works the tentpole events of the NFL, including the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, Draft, and Combine. In her spare time, Jill enjoys boating, traveling, playing pickleball, and attending sporting events with her family and friends.
