Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, In-Q-Tel, Inc.

Carrie currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications for In-Q-Tel, Inc., in Arlington, Virginia, where she leads marketing and communications that inform, educate, and deepen relationships among the organization’s domestic and growing ecosystem of international startups, venture investors, and government. Within this role, she has directed a brand refresh, established crisis communications strategies, developed external content platforms and programming, and directed large-scale conferences with keynote speakers such as Anne Wojcicki, former CIA Director John Brennen, and Mark Cuban. Prior to In-Q-Tel, Inc., Carrie founded Grace PR LLC, a strategic communications consultancy providing strategic planning and hands-on execution of marketing communications initiatives for clients in life sciences, big pharma, biotech, corporate, and consumer packaged goods.

Outside of the workplace, Carrie has served as a board member for ArtSpireVA, West Potomac High School Dance Team Fort Hunt PTA, Carl Sandbug PTA, and West Potomac PTSA. Additionally, she mentors at In-Q-Tel, Inc. and within Purdue University’s College of Liberal Arts. In recognition of Carrie’s successes, she was named as one of DCA Live’s Top 2020 CMOs.
