Korean Program
At Purdue, the Korean Program is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of Korean language, history, and culture.
Our program goes beyond language instruction—it offers a comprehensive academic and cultural experience that allows students to engage with Korea from multiple perspectives.
We provide a full sequence of Korean language courses (KOR 101–401) designed for all proficiency levels, as well as content courses that explore Korean food culture, cinema, literature, society, and traditional music.
Through these courses, students not only develop linguistic skills but also gain insight into the cultural values, artistic expressions, and social dynamics that shape modern and traditional Korea.
The Korean Program is a vibrant community where students connect through events, scholarships, and study abroad opportunities—preparing them to understand Korea’s growing global influence and to engage meaningfully in today’s interconnected world.
