Office Information

  • Brian Butler is a third year costume design MFA candidate student, originally for Wylie, Texas. While at Purdue University, Brian has costume designed Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, Secret in the Wings by Mary Zimmerman, and Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire. He will be designing costumes for The Beaux’ Stratagem, by George Farquhar adapted by Thornton Wilder and Ken Ludwig, in 2018. Brian received his BFA in Costume Design and Makeup from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. During 2013-14 Brian spent a year in Sidcup, Kent, United Kingdom as a student of the costume production team at Rose Bruford College. This past summer he worked at Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa, California as an Assistant Shop Manager and Draper. Favorite past shows include: The Drowsy Chaperone, bobrauchenburgamerica, The Love Talker, West Side Story, Chicago, Rent, and The Taming of the Shrew.
