Describe your typical day as an intern.
My typical day on the job involves working under senior analysts and project managers for a variety of projects for different clients. On a day-to-day basis, we create surveys, test the survey links to ensure that they work for all respondents, and then field them. After we get the data back, we analyze the results and create reports and presentations to consult and advise the client.

What has surprised you most about your internship?
The thing I was most surprised about with my internship was how much I am able to contribute to the projects I am working on! I am definitely not fetching coffee, but instead doing meaningful research and consulting some of the biggest companies in the world.

How has your internship prepared you for your career?
This internship had prepared me immensely for my career. It has shown me what my studies look like when put into practice and how to operate in a professional setting.

What recommendations do you have for other interns?
I would encourage them to take the internship as seriously as they would take a normal job. I would advise them to always stay hungry and always ask what they can help with or do. Lastly, I would encourage them to build strong professional relationships with individuals in their company and people in the city in which they are interning.
