Jimmy Cox is the Senior Director, Student-Alumni Programs at the Purdue for Life Foundation where he oversees student programs, recent graduate initiatives, and manages the Boilermaker Station Welcome Center. He also does some work with alumni relations for fraternities, sororities, and cooperative houses. Jimmy graduated from Purdue in 2009 with a dual BA in political science and history. He was involved in student government, College Mentors for Kids, and Theta Chi Fraternity, where he served as president. Following graduation, he was hired as a consultant for Theta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters and spent two years working with undergraduate chapters at more than 60 college campuses consulting on issues such as member recruitment, risk management, academics, and member education. He earned his master’s degree in higher education and student affairs in 2013 from Indiana University and worked in the student affairs office at Marian University in Indianapolis from 2011-2014. Jimmy started his role and has been in the same position at Purdue since 2014. His primary mission is to help those who love Purdue stay connected, get involved, and give back. When not enjoying time with family and friends, Jimmy likes to stay involved in the community. He currently serves on his local school board and volunteers for his church. Jimmy and his wife Megan, a Purdue graduate, live in Westfield, Indiana with their two Golden Retrievers, Toby and Tucker.
