History of Science Technology and Medicine Minor

The History of Science, Technology, and Medicine teaches students to ask basic questions about how science, technology, and medicine develop through the course of time.  Students will learn how science, technology and medicine shape society and the impact society can have on science.  Using historical perspectives, students acquire skill sets that inform research on pressing contemporary issues, preparing them for careers in private industries and education, and for broader public engagement in advancing our understanding of the development of technological innovations, science, and medicine.
