CLA Global Internships

CLA Global Internship programs allow students to live, learn, and work in another culture for a month while earning Purdue credit. All programs include a pre-session at Purdue followed by time working and taking classes in-country.

Students earn 9-12 credit hours. Class offerings vary but most often include language and culture classes. The current internship program offering is located in Peru. 

Lima Internship and Study Abroad 

Knowledge of Spanish level 10100 is a requirement, and higher levels are welcomed. You will have the opportunity to complete up to nine credit hours in Spanish language, South American culture, and course credits for your internship. In addition to gaining on-the-job work experience and Purdue course credits, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit Machu Picchu and explore other historic sites in Peru. Earn credit for various SPAN courses.
