Hegman Scholars Award

The Hegman Scholars Fund was established in December 2006 by Mark and Jacqueline (BA 1964, English) Hegman. The Hegman Scholars Fund is available to juniors majoring in English at Purdue and is based on academic merit.

Amount: $1000-$2000

Criteria for Eligibility:

The Hegman Scholars Award is available to undergraduates majoring in English. Students should apply the year they are sophomores, and the award will be made the following academic year, when they are juniors. Selection is based on academic merit. Recipients of this scholarship are asked to write a report at the end of their junior year describing their accomplishments as an English major over the course of the year.
