How has your internship helped build your skills and clarify your career goals?

My internship has taught me how to work on a team with others to produce a video broadcast. Along with that, I have been working closely with our broadcaster to help run the show with hopes of becoming one next summer.

How do you apply your Liberal Arts skills in your internship?

By becoming a more open communicator. The Cape League is arguably the number one summer baseball league for collegiate students so, therefore, it draws a lot of attention from MLB scouts, and news outlets. I have been able to meet and make connections with companies such as NESN (New England Sports Network).

How did you learn about this opportunity?

The past two summers I interned for Falmouth Community Television which is located next to the field so we produced a few pieces for the community.
