Mission
The Research Academy has the goal to strengthen the research community in the College of Liberal Arts, to disseminate scientific discoveries of the college, and to initiate and build new research capacities including cross-college research projects. The Research Academy engages in activities to help faculty and their graduate students develop impactful and fundable lines of research. This includes programs of individual researchers as well as initiatives that require multidisciplinary collaborations. The Research Academy works to advance CLA faculty for highly prestigious external awards and recognition that align with AAU goals. To this end, the Research Academy is organizing a variety of events including an annual Research Day (see events) and initiatives such as a new mentee-mentor program (see funding).
