Maurice Tetne is a specialist in Francophone literature, cinema, and cultural studies, with a focus on language, identity, and migration in Francophone Africa and Louisiana. His research explores how regional variants of French shape literary and cinematic expressions, particularly through narratives of displacement, resistance, and cultural memory. Maurice has published with the University Press of Montreal and has a forthcoming article in the Revue Internationale des Francophonies. As a committed educator, Maurice designs and teaches interdisciplinary courses on African literature, immigration, and Francophone Louisiana, particularly its abolitionist movements and cultural legacies.
