My research focuses on the phonetics and psycholinguistics of bilingual populations. My principal line of research investigates language selection and separation, examining both the outcomes of language switching—particularly at the phonetic level—and the processes that govern language selection. As a secondary area, my research examines second language phonetics and pronunciation, with a focus on pronunciation acquisition and instructional techniques. I am also interested in empirical approaches to research methodology in these fields, developing new tools for bilingualism research and systematically evaluating methodological practices in the field.
