Raul Gonzalez

With decades of experience in the audio industry, Raul Gonzalez is the Americas Product and Applications Sales Specialist for the Touring Audio and Live Production Systems team for Harman Professional, Harman International. Prior to joining Harman International, he was an audio engineer, designer, and consultant for multiple tours and audio companies. His area of expertise includes live sound mixing and system engineering and optimization. His work has taken him all over the US and internationally.

While at Purdue, Raul kept gravitating toward his love of live music while studying engineering at Purdue. As an undergraduate, he took every audio class that Purdue Theatre had to offer though not a part of his major. After completing his Electrical Engineering degree in 1991, he went to work for Bell Labs. Through a partnership between Purdue Theatre and Hall of Music Productions in the creation of an audio graduate assistantship, Raul was able to return to Purdue and receive his MA in Theatre Sound Engineering in 2000.
