Opportunities


AASRC Work Study- Undergraduates who qualify for work study and have an interest in African American Studies are particularly encouraged to apply. Work study employment involves general office work, such as copying, filing, and answering phones as well as creative work such as creating displays.

African American Studies & AI Undergraduate Award -Paper submissions due March 13- AAS majors and minors are encouraged to submit original papers or creative research projects that engage AAS topics, histories, or communities, use original research and / or creative approaches, or thoughtfully and ethically incorporate AI tools. Top 3 win prize money. 

SIS Opportunities- The School of Interdisciplinary Studies provides several scholarships open to students from many different majors, designed to support a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations.

BCC- The Black Cultural Center provides purposeful, holistic, scholarly and cocurricular programming designed to strengthen understanding of African American heritage. It enhances the academic, cultural and social development of the entire Purdue community.
