Purdue Contemporary Dance Company’s Winter Works performance brings a spectrum of human expression to the stage, completing the roster of fall performances in the Department of Theatre and Dance. This year’s concert includes seven new works contributed by faculty members Renee Murray and Vivian Kim, four select student choreographers, and guest alumna artist Sara Satterly. The Purdue student dancers who perform these works commit to a collaborative creative process in rehearsal that supports them in finding and developing their own approach to creative research practice in dance. Each PCDC concert is distinctly different, offering audiences a one-of-a kind experience at the end of every semester.
