Access to holdings

We currently do not have remote access to the database. Those wishing to search the collection can search the database onsite or browse the shelves. We are working on the issue of remote access and hope to resolve this soon. We can send you an excel file of current holdings if desired.

User policies

The Art and Design faculty, teaching staff, graduate students, and visiting scholars, may use the contents of the Visual Resources Collection’s VHS tapes, DVD’s, magazines, books, and equipment. Other Purdue University faculty can use this material with permission from the VR librarian, but priority is given to Art and Design users. Check out period is for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Limitations

Our visual media collection is for face to face classroom use and not licensed for non-educational public performances.
