Students can choose the 15-credit minor in Political Science
or the 12-credit minor in Environmental Politics and Policy

Our popular 15-credit (five course) Political Science Minor allows students to engage in any one or a combination of topic areas including:

American politics
Comparative and international politics
International security
Law
Public policy
Foreign policy
Research methods

A minor in Political Science exposes students to foundational ideas about how governments work and why they make the choices they do. A minor in political science prepares students to work in fields that are connected to or impacted by government decision making.

Environmental Politics and Policy Minor

Students select four classes to satisfy this minor.  Popular choices include comparative environmental policy, global green policy, and senior seminars on contemporary political problems.
