Vipanchika Bhagyanagar has been awarded the Letten visiting fellowship

This fully funded four-to-five-month exchange fellowship opportunity will allow her to write a chapter in association with a professor of law, Tarun Khaitan, while attending varied courses in law which would broaden her understanding of the "legal" in the legal history in her research, which is critical to her dissertation.

The Letten Visting PhD Studentship is LSE Law School's prestigious award and is aimed at capacity-building for PhD students whose research concerns any aspect of Indian equality and anti-discrimination law. The Letten Visiting PhD Studentship is designed for advanced-stage doctoral students. The visitor will be based at LSE and will benefit from a research-intensive environment. They will be expected to be involved in all academic activities by attending relevant seminars, workshops and reading groups during their time at LSE.
