Online teaching, Spring 2020

Moving to Online Teaching: Spring 2020

The ICAP team actively supported instructors move to emergency remote teaching in Spring 2020. This page is maintained for archival purposes and is no longer being regularly updated.

The documents here are intended to provide brief introductions to online teaching. We will update this page and the resources linked here continually, adding resources and depth. Thanks to the Professional Writing staff who are sharing the workload with us.

We've asked ICAP instructors to see March 23–29 as "transition week" and to write a syllabus addendum by March 29. We'll be actively helping with both during that week. Here are sample week transition plans and sample syllabus addenda. Ready to share yours? Send it to icapstaff@lists.purdue.edu, and let us know if we can post it here.

Online office hours

We offered time two days a week in addition to 1:1 and group consultations.
