Richard David Stutzke Study Abroad Scholarship

The Richard D. Stutzke Study Abroad Scholarship was established in January 2007, by Dr. Richard Stutzke (BS 1963, College of Science). The scholarship provides financial assistance to a qualified undergraduate German major (or dual degree student majoring in German) who plans to study abroad in a German-speaking country for at least one semester. Funds may also be used to support students taking part in other study-abroad and language development opportunities, such as Maymester programs in Germany or summer programs sponsored by the Goethe Institute.

Amount: $1,000

Criteria for Eligibility:

For an undergraduate German major who plans to study abroad in a German-speaking country for at least one semester. Selection will be made by the German faculty on the basis of academic merit. A minimum gpa overall and in German courses is required.
