The Oral English Proficiency Program (OEPP) works with University departments to support international graduate students who are, or would like to be, teaching assistants.

Our services include:

• Screening prospective teaching assistants for oral English proficiency
• Certifying students for oral English proficiency
• Providing classroom communication training in English as a Second Language (ESL) for international graduate students

The OEPP serves as a resource both for the departments that employ international graduate students and the students themselves.
