College of Liberal Arts to Participate in Purdue One Health Event
Purdue’s One Health and Well-Being Research Event: A Celebration of Interdisciplinary Health Research is on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union North and South Ballrooms in West Lafayette. The event highlights the continued momentum of One Health across academic programs, research initiatives, and industry partnerships, with a focus on accelerating, amplifying, and elevating life and health sciences at Purdue. Sociology Professor Erin Dunn will participate in the mini-symposium.

Mini-Symposium
Developmental Origins of Health and Disease: A One Health Perspective
Time: 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
Location: North Ballroom
This mini-symposium will feature three presentations by Purdue faculty members, including Erin Dunn, professor of sociology, and will be moderated by Aaron Bowman, dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Poster Competition
Time: 12 p.m.–2 p.m.
Location: North and South Ballrooms
All Purdue University postdoctoral scholars and graduate students conducting research on the health and well-being of animals, plants, humans, and the environment—whether basic, applied, or technology-related—are invited to participate in the One Health and Well-being research poster competition. You can register your poster online by the deadline on February 20, 2026.

One Health from the Perspective of Industry

Industry representatives from the human health, animal health, and plant health sectors will discuss their vision of One Health.
