Zoe completed her BA in philosophy at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Prior to pursuing graduate studies in philosophy, she worked as a middle school teacher and as an assembler in the manufacturing industry. Her philosophical interests lie in the philosophy of religion, specifically evolutionary religion, the future progress of religion, alternative concepts of God, and religious diversity. She is also interested in interdisciplinary studies, particularly how the field of transpersonal psychology can inform questions in the philosophy of religion, such as concepts of transcendence, salvation, and religious pluralism. While they are not her main focus, Zoe is also interested in the philosophy of disability, phenomenology, and the ethics of suicide. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, playing Stardew valley and spending time with her cat, Emmie.
