Yuning (Taranee) Cao

I'm excited to join Purdue University as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Teaching in Japanese in the fall of 2026. Originally from Tianjin, China, under culture import from Japan, I developed a passion for Japanese and Japanese pop culture. I genuinely enjoy teaching and language learning. I specialize in sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, and language teaching. My non-academic interests include piano, Aikido, golf, playing bridge games, and doing chores.
