Tülin Ece Tosun is an Associate Teaching Professor of Cornerstone Integrated Liberal Arts and the Assistant Director for Cornerstone, Indianapolis.
She received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Purdue University. She specializes in Shakespeare and cross-cultural Mediterranean encounters in early modern travel narratives. Her work has appeared in Interactions (2012) and the Academic Communication Textbook (2021). She is a co-author of From Tools to Teammates: Implementing the Co-Creative Classroom in Global Higher Education, under contract with Purdue University Press, and is part of the Purdue University Book Initiative Program. She is currently working on her book project, Othello and the Ottoman Domestic Imaginary: Empire, Intimacy, and Tragedy in Shakespeare.
She is the recipient of the 2023 Antonia Syson Cornerstone Teaching Award.
