Office and Contact

Prior to joining the PLaCE team in Fall 2018, Sabina taught ESL, French and philosophy at colleges in the western suburbs of Chicago. In her classroom, Sabina aims to stimulate critical thinking and to foster community building, for she believes they are key to success. Having learned English as a second language learner, French as an undergraduate and graduate student in France, and Arabic as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan, Sabina strives to be an example to her students, empowering them to believe in themselves and to pursue their goals. In her free time, Sabina enjoys Middle Eastern dance and choreography, yoga and healthy eating.
