Natalie at Purdue

Beginning her years at Purdue, Natalie knew that she wanted to commit to the professinal writing program. She was sure that she wanted to do something with writing- it was her facorite part.

Her computer graphics technology degree was an introduction to her during her freshman year. She chose to have a concentration in data visualization and web development, it was a good balance between tech and writing courses. By senior year she was certain that she wanted to bridge both majors.

As a boilermaker, Natalie was very involved; she had a marketing and writing job with RecWell. She also took an interrnship course with Professor Jennifer Bay where she interned for Food Finders and did data analysis and writing content for their website.

Natalie After Graduation

Previous to her current position, Natalie had interned with Splink. She landed the opportunity through LinkedIn. Today, she works with Cisco who later acquired Splunk.

Currently she has two main roles, she writes troubleshooting documents and she is a UX writer for web content. As a troubleshooting documnt writer, she creaters different applications for cybersecurity-User documentation. As a UX writer, she makes the web experiences much more seamless as she designs to guide users on applications and software.
