Biography
Lila Alonso is a PhD Candidate in the Literature, Theory, and Cultural Studies program originally from Chicago, Illinois. Her research interests include mid-twentieth century American literature, spatial theory, post-/decolonial theory, Disability Studies, and Mad Studies. She focuses predominantly on epistemic injustice and non-dominant ways of knowing, living, and being— or better said, counter-cultures and counter-knowledges.
