Vikram Kumar

Vikram Kumar graduated with a PhD in Philosophy from Cornell University's Sage School of Philosophy in 2025. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Columbia University and Master's degrees in Ancient Philosophy from both the University of Oxford and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. His area of specialization lies in ancient and medieval philosophy; in particular, his research centers on ancient and medieval metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophical theology. His dissertation explored the epistemology of the seven liberal arts in the early works of Augustine. Aside from Augustine, Vikram also has significant research interests in Hellenistic epistemology and late Platonist logic and ontology. In his free time, he likes to cook, play video games, and read 19^th century literature.
