Originally from Island Lake, Illinois, Jacob is a Sophomore at Purdue University studying Aviation Management and Political Science. He began his Purdue journey in Exploratory Studies before discovering his passion for aviation, government, and public service. On campus, Jacob serves in several leadership roles, including as a College of Liberal Arts Ambassador, Exploratory Studies Fellow, and holds executive board positions in Pi Sigma Alpha and the Purdue Pre-Law Society. Outside of academics, Jacob enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, and exploring the great outdoors.
Advice to Students
Get involved early and don’t be afraid to say yes to opportunities that push you outside your comfort zone. The experiences and connections you make outside the classroom often end up being just as valuable as what you learn inside it.
