Gabriel Rios-Rojas is an assistant professor of teaching in the School of Languages & Cultures and College of Engineering. Rios-Rojas will be teaching STEM-related courses in Liberal Arts such as Spanish for Engineering & Technology and Humanities-Informed Engineering.
Rios-Rojas holds degrees from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad EAFIT, Escuela Superior de Mercadeo, as well as his Master’s of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior, Rios-Rojas served as a Limited-Term Lecturer of Spanish and Portuguese in the School of Languages & Culture and has a decades-long career in engineering and project management.
Gabriel Rios-Rojas will also teach Global Engineering courses for the College of Engineering, as well as lead a short-term, professional practice-related Study Abroad in a Spanish-speaking country, where students will engage with employers abroad.
